- registering your business
- goods and services tax
- income tax and claiming deductions
- record keeping
- how to prepare and lodge your activity statements
The workshop also covers employer obligations, such as pay as you go withholding and superannuation, if you have or
are intending to employ people.
Presenter; Bob Green
Robert (Bob) Green has worked in various businesses over his career so he is not unfamiliar with the pressures that running a business can impose on the owner. He has experience in banking, sales management at executive level, retail, education and property development.
He holds a degree in Accounting and Financial Management and has filled the roll of “financial controller” in most of the businesses he has worked in.
Although taxation issues are hard and fast as they are governed by law, Bob can help you understand some of the nuances of complying in the day to day working world of small to medium business.
