Small business experience

My experience gives me a strong understanding of the realities of small business ownership – limited resources， competing priorities and the need for practical strategies that translate into action and sustainable growth.

I am the founder and owner of In The Willow， a strategic marketing consultancy supporting SMEs from start-up through to established businesses.

My experience combines running my own small business with corporate， agency and government-funded business advisory roles. Before establishing In The Willow， I worked across SEO， agency and corporate marketing， including as Digital Marketing Manager at CSR Limited and Marketing Strategist at Salted Stone.

A significant part of my career has been dedicated to working directly with small business owners. For five years， I provided digital strategy and marketing advisory services through the NSW Government Business Connect program and have also advised businesses through the Digital Solutions program. Across my consulting and advisory work， I have supported more than 300 SMEs， sole traders and young entrepreneurs.

More recently， I have expanded my work within agriculture and rural communities， including mentoring through a rural leadership program connected with the Future Drought Fund and working directly with rural and agricultural businesses.
