Small business experience
I am the Founder and Owner of Origami World, an award-winning small business serving both B2B and B2C customers. Since establishing the business in November 2018 (nearly 8 years), I have delivered mindful origami activations, workshops and branded kits for organisations including Canva, Toyota, Rio Tinto, Honda, Seiko and Cumberland City Council. I also run an ecommerce website (origamiworld.com.au) stocking the largest range of Japanese Yuzen paper in Australia and shipping worldwide, with revenue doubling year-on-year since launch.

As a sole operator, I manage the business end-to-end, including product development, pricing, online sales and marketing, customer service, order processing, fulfilment, workshop facilitation, and business operations and administration. This hands-on experience is complemented by supporting more than 200 small businesses through the Government’s ASBAS Digital Solutions program, helping owners strengthen their marketing, improve their online presence, and grow with practical, achievable action plans.
